Data and statistics from the last few years show that Russian travel insurance is often inadequate, credit and debit cards are the most popular methods of payment for Russian travelers, and the number of incoming tourists to St. Petersburg has dramatically decreased, causing City Hall to launch a program aimed at attracting more tourists to the city.
