Jeanne’s post yesterday on favorite poetry collections, which was inspired by my post on landmark books, in turn inspired me to dig out one of my own favorite childhood anthologies and read some poetry with AJ. And when I realized the date, I knew I had to read Longfellow’s “Paul Revere’s Ride,” which we read every year on this date, like we did when I was growing up. Afterwards, AJ wanted to read one.
